摘要: Symmetry energy is of particular importance to many issues in nuclear physics and astrophysics. Up to now, our understanding of symmetry energy is still very limited especially at supra-saturation density. In this talk, I will firstly review the present status of symmetry energy studies. Then I will show that symmetry energy can be decomposed into different terms based on the fundamental HVH theorem. The symmetry potential term is found to be the most uncertain term for symmetry energy. The global optical potential extracted from experimental data is used to constrain symmetry potential and symmetry energy. The important physics determining the density dependence of symmetry energy will be discussed in details.
报告人简介：许昌，南京大学物理学院教授, 理学博士。1999年考入南京大学物理系本科；2006于南京大学物理系获理学博士学位；2007年起在南京大学物理学院任教；2009-2011年在美国Texas A&M University进行博士后研究工作。2014.12起任南京大学物理学院教授。主要从事超重新元素性质，量子隧道效应与核衰变，原子核对称能，中能重离子碰撞方面的研究工作。在国内外期刊Physical Review C，Physical Review Letters，Nuclear Physics A等上发表论文70余篇(第一作者论文30余篇)，发表的论文被引用近1500次，包括Reviews of Modern Physics综述论文和Science实验论文等的引用。主持国家自然科学基金青年项目和面上项目多项，担任国家自然科学基金评审人和专业期刊审稿人等。
